Everybody's Doing It
I have succombed to the need to blog. Yes, I have decided to join the great unread masses and document my life. Until I get a handle on Movable Type and PHP and post to my own site (which, considering my aptitude for programming could take a while), this is where my thoughts will live. All things considered, this is not unlike writing my high school journal. Only this time I am allowing everyone to read it.
My apologies in advance.
So why blog? I don't think I have anything particularly original to add to contemporary dialog. I'm not witty. I'm only moderately political. I'd rather stay home than go out. I have maybe a handful of best friends in the universe (and I'm married to one of them so maybe that doesn't count). So...why?
I let you know when I figure it out.
So, in the spirit of the celebration of minutae that is the average blog, here is what is happening in my house right this second:
JLew is laying on the couch watching the World Series. I'm not really following it, as I am writing this, so I am only aware of the action of the game when she periodically shouts out, "Yeah!" or "Sweet!" I assume the game is going favorably for the Red Sox based on these reactions. I'm sorry to say that I am just not interested in the World Series, even though my home team is kickin' butt and making history. JLew says she's only interested in it because of the kids. To which I say, "Uh-huh."
